How early should I place my cake order?

We book up fast, especially for weekends and holidays! We recommend reaching out as early as possible—we accept orders up to 6 months in advance. Last-minute? We’ll try to make it work, but we do need at least 2 weeks’ notice for most custom cakes.

Where are you located?

Blush Cakes is a home-based bakery in Southwest Houston (77083). While we don’t have a storefront (yet), all treats are freshly made to order and available for pickup or local delivery!

How do payments work?

So glad you asked! Here’s how we roll:

• Orders under $75: Full payment due within 24 hours of receiving your invoice. No refunds.

• Custom or larger orders: 50% non-refundable deposit to lock in your date, with the balance due 1 week before pickup/delivery.

• Final payment for all orders is due at least 1 week before your event date.

We accept debit and credit cards, and payments must be made on time to secure your spot on our baking calendar.

Do you offer tastings?

Yes — we offer cake tasting boxes once, maybe twice a year. If you have a large event or wedding coming up, feel free to shoot us an email and we’ll be happy to schedule a tasting box for you! Each box is $50 and includes four delicious flavors (serves two). Additional flavors can be added for $14 each. Follow us on Instagram for updates on our next tasting box release!

Do you deliver?

Absolutely! We deliver around Houston and nearby areas:

• Local delivery: starts at $30

• Outside Houston: Fee varies by distance

For weddings and big celebrations, we handle the delivery ourselves to make sure everything arrives just right.

How should I transport my cake?

Treat your cake like royalty! Keep it on a flat surface in an air-conditioned vehicle (the floorboard is best). Avoid seats or laps—we want your cake to arrive flawless!

Do you offer gluten-free or vegan options?

We don’t offer gluten-free at this time, but we do have a vegan cake option available! Just let us know when placing your order.

How much do your cakes cost?

Prices vary depending on size, flavor, and design. Send us your inspo and details, and we’ll provide a custom quote made just for you.

What kind of cakes do you make?

We specialize in buttercream cakes with a soft, stylish look—think elegant, modern, and full of personality. We don’t work with fondant or sculpted novelty designs, but we’d love to see your inspo and bring it to life the Blush way!

Can I customize my order?

Yes, please! Custom is kind of our thing. 💕 Send us your theme, colors, favorite flavors, and any reference pics—we’ll work some magic.

Do you work around food allergies?

All of our products are made in a kitchen that also processes dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, and tree nuts. While we do our best to avoid cross-contamination, our kitchen is not allergen-free. If you or your recipient has a severe allergy, we recommend ordering with caution—we want everyone to be safe!

Do you ship cookies or cakes?
We do not currently offer shipping for cookies or cakes due to Texas Cottage Law restrictions. However, we're actively working on a solution and hope to offer shipping in the near future! Stay tuned on Instagram for updates and seasonal offerings..

What’s your cancellation policy?

We totally get that life happens. That said, all deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. If something changes, reach out to us ASAP. We’ll always try to help if we can, but refunds are not guaranteed.

Do you offer bulk or corporate orders?

We sure do! Whether it’s thank-you gifts, cookies, or dessert tables for a big event, we’re happy to help. Send us a message with the details and we’ll create something sweet just for your crew.

Where do I pick up cookies?

We pop up around Houston every Sunday! 📍Our pickup locations change weekly, so be sure to follow our Instagram and subscribe to emails to see where we’ll be next. Come say hi and grab some cookies while you’re at it! May is looking a little different this time around! We’ll have just one pickup day — Friday, May 23rd — at Un Caffè from 10 AM to 1 PM. And here’s the fun part: we’re offering more than just cookies this month!

What should I expect on pickup day?

You’ll get a confirmation text or email with your pickup info 1–2 days before your scheduled date. Please be on time—we bake on a tight schedule and may not be able to accommodate late arrivals.
